Your Aura, Your Energy & Your Spiritual Wellbeing

Our aura is often described as the energetic field that surrounds us, for me, understanding our aura is something far more magnificent than simply learning about colours, layers or energetic bodies.
We are multidimensional beings, and our energy is vast, intricate and beautifully layered. There are many depths to our auric field, far more expansive than we could ever capture within one diagram or explanation.
So rather than trying to define something so expansive, I invite you to see the diagram as an accessible doorway… a beautiful introduction, a glimpse, a reminder of some of the aspects of our energetic, emotional, mental and spiritual selves.
Ultimately, this is about so much more than understanding your aura - it is an invitation to understand YOU, more deeply, more consciously and on every level…
Your energy….Your emotions….Your intuition….What lights you up….What drains you….What feels aligned… and what doesn’t…..Most importantly, how deeply connected you feel to yourself.
We have all experienced moments when we walk into a room or a space and immediately sense its atmosphere or meet someone and instinctively feel comfortable in their presence. Equally, we can spend time somewhere, or with someone, and leave feeling tired, unsettled, heavy or simply not quite ourselves.
We don’t have to analyse every feeling or experience. Sometimes the invitation is simply to notice, for us to become more aware and to trust what we feel, and to begin listening more to the intricate language of our own energy.
Working with our energy can become such a beautiful part of self-discovery, spiritual wellbeing and self-mastery.
Your Energy Is Sacred
We can learn and get to understand all aspects of our aura and but just as important you can ask yourself:
How does my energy feel today?
Do you feel light and open?
Grounded and peaceful?
Scattered or overwhelmed?
Tired or depleted?
Inspired and full of life?
A strong sense of knowing that something feels a little or a lot out of alignment?
The more you begin to notice your own energy, the more you begin to recognise what influences it, including:
The people you spend time with…
The environments you place yourself in…
The thoughts you repeatedly think…
The way you speak to yourself…
What you watch and listen to…
Where you place your attention…
What you continually give your energy to…
And the things you keep saying yes to when something within you is asking you to say no…
This isn’t about becoming fearful of the world around you or feeling that you need to protect yourself from everything and everyone. Quite the opposite - it is about becoming more conscious, more DISCERNING…more connected to yourself. As well as remembering that your energy is sacred and deserves your care too.
Protecting Your Energy
Spiritual protection doesn’t need to feel complicated or mysterious. I believe some of the most powerful forms of energetic protection begin with awareness, intention and boundaries.
Sometimes protecting our energy is saying no without feeling bad, guilty or having to justify yourself.
Sometimes it is stepping away from something that repeatedly leaves you depleted, exhausted, ill or continuously down.
Sometimes it is choosing not to enter an argument.
Sometimes it is taking time out or a few minutes for yourself.
It could also include some of the following: walking, meditating, deep breathing deeply, standing barefoot on the earth, creating space, or simply pausing long enough to recognise….this feeling isn't mine to carry.
· We can care deeply about other people without carrying everything for them
· We can have compassion without absorbing another person's pain
· We can be generous without continually abandoning our own needs
· And we can be loving while still having beautiful, healthy boundaries
That isn’t selfishness - it is self-awareness, self-respect and energetic responsibility. This is also part of our Self-Mastery journey.
Raising Your Vibration
You may hear people talk about “raising your vibration”, and it can sometimes get far more complicated than it needs to be…
I believe, it simply means becoming conscious of what brings you back into alignment, connection, joy, vitality and peace.
It is remembering what makes you feel more like the TRUE YOU
Any of the following will help to raise your vibration:
♡ Laugh until your stomach hurts
♡ Move your body
♡ Dance around the kitchen or anywhere you feel the call too
♡ Spend time in nature/outside
♡ Feel the sun on your face and skin
♡ Walk barefoot on the earth
♡ Meditate, and become still
♡ Listen to music that uplifts you
♡ Read something that inspires you or be around people that motivate you
♡ Spend time with people who allow you to be completely yourself
♡ Try something new
♡ Rest without feeling you have to earn it
♡ Create simply because it feels good to create
♡ Make time for play and silliness
♡ Notice the beauty around you
♡ Do more of what makes you feel alive
♡ Practice Gratitude and be present more
♡ Pay attention to the way you speak to yourself
Raising your vibration does not mean being happy, positive or “high vibe” every moment of your life. That isn’t real life and it isn't what spiritual wellbeing is about. There will be difficult days and there will be uncomfortable emotions, here will also be grief, frustration, uncertainty, anger and times when you simply don't feel like yourself. Youa re a soul in a human body, having a human experience so please do not judge yourself for any of it.
The deeper practice is learning to recognise when you have moved away from yourself…and discovering what lovingly brings you home and centred once more.
Let Your Energy Become Your Guide
The more deeply you understand yourself, the more your own energy can become an inner compass.
You will notice what expands you and what causes you to contract. You will know what brings you peace and what continually creates inner noise. You instinctively will know which relationships feel nourishing and reciprocal, and which ones leave you constantly giving or explaining or questioning yourself.
You will also be aware of where you feel free to be fully yourself and where you find yourself becoming smaller in order to fit in…
As well as…what awakens something within you, what feels heavy, what feels peaceful, what feels true…
This is the beauty of self-discovery. It is not about having all the answers, it is about becoming at one within. Every time you listen, learn and make a conscious choice from that deeper place of awareness, you strengthen the most important relationship you will ever have…the relationship you have with yourself.
Coming Back to You
Self-mastery isn’t about controlling life, it is about learning to stand fully in who you are and EMBODY the power that has always been within you, to embrace your light and your shadows, your strength and your softness, who you have been, who you are now, and who you are BECOMING…
It is choosing yourself, trusting yourself, and allowing yourself to become more fully true you. More conscious. More courageous. More connected. More alive.
Is it time to honour your body and what it is telling you… and showing you. To trust your intuition. To listen to your soul, and have the courage to live from that deeper place within?
This is where self-discovery becomes self-mastery and perhaps, ultimately, it all comes back to this…
When you honour your energy, raise your vibration and embody all that you are, your aura becomes the living expression of the soul within.
With immense love and peace,
Deb
