I have always had a love and fascination of herbal supplements, vitamins, minerals, and healthy foods and living since I was at secondary school, but didn't dedicate any time to pursuing that interest fully or in any detail until over 3 years ago, when I decided to go and work for Holland & Barrett.
I knew this would help me to get hands on knowledge being around the customers daily, as well as full training which covered all aspects of nutritional supplements and wellness products - I loved it!
At the same time, I decided to complete an online Naturopath diploma, so I could combine all of the knowledge I gained to enhance my holistic treatments for clients supporting their ultimate wellbeing.
I felt blessed and privileged during my time at Holland & Barrett, getting to know the customers on such a level and how the use of herbal remedies and nutritional changes allowed a huge positive effect on their lives - in some cases eliminating ailments and illnesses, bringing them back to full health or reducing the more severe cases to a much lesser extent.
Using herbal supplements and alternative therapies alongside the holistic approach to life has brought major benefits within my life and that of my family and friends also, and it continues to do so.
The main purpose of alternative remedies for health problems is to stimulate the body’s own natural powers of healing by re-balancing and cleansing. Many herbs share properties of synthetic drugs of orthodox medicine, but unlike synthetic drugs are able to restore health without side effects and without damaging natural equilibrium of the body
My reasons why everyone should invest in them and find out more:
1.Firstly human beings have evolved alongside plants, using them as food and medicine.
2.Great for those seeking a more natural holistic approach to their wellbeing rather than using all orthodox medicines.
3.Can be used safely to enhance health – promoting physical and mental performance too.
4.Can prevent illness – also treats acute problems such as cough/cold/headaches/rashes.
5.Can treat chronic problems such as anxiety/low mood/depression/arthritis/sleep problems.
I truly believe that healthy living, alongside a positive outlook combined with holistic practices, benefits us on a physical, emotional and spiritual level, which is why I am so passionate about it on every level.
